I listed this after seeing it on the wholesale listing within my software, and decided to list it for sale. The wholesaler had already loaded the product details and photos so I just did a quick edit to make it read a bit different, and then with a couple of clicks it was listed on Trade Me.
The buyer has now purchased and paid me for this purchase.
So the next thing I do is confirm the payment has been received within my software, then confirm the order from the wholesaler and transfer the money to them.
In this case the cost price is $39.13 + GST $45.00) and I sold for $69.52 + GST ($79.95) so the profit excluding GST is $30.39 but then I pay the selling fees to Trade Me and end up with a profit after fees of $21.49
Now the whole process for the sale takes about 5-minutes (if that) so you can see how easy it is to make money selling other peoples stuff on Trade Me.
